Hall of Democracy II
The following work is an updated version of an individual project. This work is a collaborative effort with another student based on my original design. All technical documentation and design updates were produced together. All renders and drawings shown, as well as the model were produced by myself individually.
The Hall of Democracy is designed to facilitate a positive relationship between the state government and the people of Queensland. The building's program hosts a range of activities to provide people with a place to meet, speak, learn, and protest. The program allows for permeable access through and across the site, creating a cohesive government precinct in the heart of the Brisbane CBD. The glass brick facade creates a transparent structure which allows light in during the day, and artificial out at night.
